About us & how we work
Last updated October 14, 2026
Oh My Park is an independent guide to theme parks, gardens and other attractions in Asia. This page explains who we are, where our information comes from, and how we keep it honest.
Who we are
Oh My Park is run by a small independent team based in Indonesia. We write practical guides to help you plan a day out: how to get there, when to go, what to expect and which tickets make sense for you.
Every guide is available in five languages: English, Indonesian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Russian. Right now we cover Japan (Osaka and Tokyo) and Singapore, and more destinations are on the way. You can see everything we cover on the attractions page.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Disney, Universal, Nintendo or any park or operator. Park names and trademarks belong to their owners, and we never use park logos or characters as our own branding.
How we research and check facts
Every attraction has its own fact sheet. Every number you see in a guide, such as opening hours, height requirements, travel times and ticket rules, comes from the official website or the operator. We store each one with a link to its source and the date we checked it.
We re-check every fact sheet at least every 90 days, and each guide shows when it was last updated. If you want the official source behind a detail, just ask us at corrections@ohmypark.com.
We don't show prices. Ticket prices change often, sometimes daily, so a number on our page could easily be out of date. You'll always see the current price on the booking partner's page or the official site.
How we use AI
We use AI tools to help us research, organise facts and draft text. Each language version is written natively from the same fact sheet, not machine-translated sentence by sentence.
Automated checks stop a page from being published if:
- a number has no recorded source,
- it claims a price can't be beaten anywhere else, or
- it contains invented reviews or invented personal experience.
A person checks every guide
A person on our team reviews every guide before it goes live, and fixes any errors readers report.
Reviews, and what we never do
- We never pretend to have visited a place when we haven't.
- We never copy reviews from other sites, and we never make them up.
- Sections about what visitors say are written in our own words, clearly labelled as summaries, and list their sources.
- If there aren't enough public reviews to summarise fairly, we leave that section out.
How we make money
Oh My Park is free to read. Some links are affiliate links to booking partners (currently Klook). If you book through one of them, the partner may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra.
Partners don't pay for coverage, and they can't review or edit our guides. Commission never decides what we recommend. We never point a booking button at an official site, and if no partner sells a product, it simply gets no button. The full details are in our affiliate disclosure.
Corrections
